RFI will maintain its independent operations under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Scott Magee. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tait, Dr. Yoram Benit, greeted the RFI team to the Tait group and discussed the compatibility of the companies.
“Like Tait, RFI is a leader in its global sector. The companies complement each other in what we do with little overlap, and the markets we serve continue to grow and develop,” Dr. Benit said.
“Tait has been a customer of RFI for many years and we stand by the quality and sophistication of their technology. Our aim is for both companies to continue to do what they do well and to look for opportunities in the future where we can synergise and support each other’s growth.”

The RFI acquisition supports Tait’s vision to provide industry leading communications solutions for its critical communications customers across the world.

Meta’s Instagram, Facebook hit by widespread outages - Al Jazeera English

Facebook users unable to sign in while Instagram users’ feeds not refreshed. Users of Meta’s Facebook and Instagram platforms have experienced login issues in what appears to be a widespread outage. The social media platforms were down for hundreds of thousands of users across the globe from about 15:00 GMT on Tuesday, but the sites appeared to be returning to normal about two hours later. “Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services,” Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience,” he added. The issue peaked about 15:30 GMT with 500,000 reports of outages for Facebook and 70,000 reports for Instagram, according to the outage tracking website Downdetector.com. Threads, the rival to Twitter that Meta launched in 2023, also suffered reported outages although Meta’s messaging service WhatsApp appeared...

Converged Identity Platforms consolidate features found in other technologies - SC Media

In fact, by next year, 70% of new access management, governance, administration, and privileged access deployments will be converged platforms, Gartner  reports .  Historically, many technology vendors have built out product suites to address a single overarching challenge. In this case, i...
